In Washington D.C.....need I say more???  The storm of the century hit us and we were without power for 4 days!!!  Little Max was getting his butt wiped with frozen wipiez...sorry Max.!  No power, water, food...but thank god we had wine!!  Needless to say, we are headed back to Los Angeles as fast as Virgin America can get us there....thus far it's looking like Friday as the airports here in DC are closed again....are you kidding me?   

Well, it looks like little Max has a mind of his own and will make an appearance when he is ready !!  Dr. said they will induce next Thursday (14th)....if he makes it that far.  I just have to remember that Max is happy and healthy and my current state of misery is irrelevant !!

Are you kidding me?  I'm STILL PREGNANT !!  I'm a useless whale!  I'm up to 150lb and have gained a total of just over 30lb.  Fortunately I am blessed with a comedian for a husband who enjoys making light of my whale like situation and keeps me laughing all day long.

We spend NYE hiking up in Topanga State Park, followed by a scrumptious meal of lobster and Prime rib.  Although it tasted great going down it caused indigestion that was nearly unbearable and kept me up ALL night long.  New Years Day was spent playing pinball on the SM Pier, followed by another amazing meal.   Getting fat is acutally quite enjoyable!

Doug got up at 5 this morning to meet his LA Marathon running group and got in a great workout.  I, on the other hand, slept until he came home at 10 and am now ready for a nap after two exhausting hours of being awake and doing absolutely nothing.  

It's HOT and sunny today so have decided to head to the beach to catch some rays.

Oh my, I can not believe that women do this....time and time again!  Everything hurts!  Not sure if i'll make it to the 7th with my sanity intact.  Christmas Eve was fun as was Christmas Day but I'm having one contraction after the next today (26th)!  None, however, add up to a trip to the hospital.  Hope my next post is a baby...! 

I started out with good intentions but have fallen prey to exhaustion, thus have fallen behind on my journal upkeep. 

Little Max is full term tomorrow and he's welcome to come anytime after that.  As previously stated, however, I would prefer to begin my labor on New Years Eve and welcome him into the world on 1/01/2010.  I think that would be a very cool birthday to say the least and easy to remember for a little tike. 

Well, it's official !  I'm a chunky pregnant lady.  I hit 150lb today, making my weight gain thus far, 30lb.  I figured i'd max out at 150lb....give or take a few.  Dr. said it was the perfect amount to pack on and I fully enjoyed every pound, as I ate everything and anything in sight !

Okay, that's all I got for now as I have to get out our Christmas cards and presents....sorry if they are late.
